Warehouse workers in California's Inland Empire have been hard-hit by the global economic recession. But while they suffer, the retail companies behind the broken business model that has devastated the Inland Empire hide behind an elaborate network of temp agencies and third parties to avoid having any responsibility to the workers who brought them so much profit when times were good.
California's warehouse workers have launched a new movement -- Warehouse Workers United -- to get the protections they deserve. And they are calling on Congress to pass the Employee Free Choice Act so that every American worker can do the same.
