The short explanation of this alert was:

Missouri is in the middle of the biggest economic crisis in modern history. Workers are losing their jobs and families are losing their economic security all across our state.

While all this is going on, Republican politicians in Jefferson City are wasting the time of the House of Representatives with House Joint Resolution 37, an unnecessary amendment to the state constitution that attacks the Employee Free Choice Act and Missouri workers' right to have the choice to join together in unions.

Enough is enough -- tell the House to put politics aside and get to work fixing our economy, rather than taking away our rights!
